Is my data actually private?+
LOWKI OS has no servers of its own that see your voice, screen, files or conversations — everything goes directly from your PC to the AI provider whose key you bring. What that provider does with it depends on your key: Anthropic's API and Google's paid Gemini API never train on your data by default; Gemini's free-tier API may use it to improve their products outside the EU/UK/Switzerland (those regions get the no-training terms even on the free tier). If that distinction matters to you, use a paid key — see our pricing page for guidance per plan.
What permissions does LOWKI OS need, and why?+
To actually do things — click, type, manage files, send messages — LOWKI OS needs screen, input and file access. Every action above a low-risk threshold shows you a plain-English confirmation before it happens, and you control exactly which categories of action are auto-allowed, ask-first, or blocked entirely in Settings.
Do I have to pay for AI usage on top of a plan?+
No — Google's Gemini API has a genuinely free tier that covers normal everyday use, and that's what LOWKI OS is built around by default. Your LOWKI OS subscription is only ever for the software itself, never a second bill for AI usage. (Corporate/Agency customers may choose a paid key instead for a stronger data-privacy guarantee — see "Is my data actually private?" above — but that's optional, not required.)
What if it makes a mistake — can I undo it?+
File moves, renames, copies, writes and deletes can all be undone with a single command. Anything that leaves your PC (a message, an email) always shows you a review screen before it sends.
How is the Agents plan different from Pro or Developer?+
Pro and Developer give you one assistant that does everything. Agents unlocks three dedicated specialists — Financial, Marketing, and Software Engineering — each with its own dashboard, scoped memory, and only the tools it actually needs. Rename them, give each one its own voice and wake word, bring up as many as you want at once, and they can quietly consult each other for a second opinion without interrupting you.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes, subscriptions cancel anytime with no lock-in. The Standard plan is a one-time purchase, so there's nothing to cancel — it's yours to keep.
